GPS Alert:
Don't be fooled by GPS and Google/Yahoo maps. They invariably direct you to
take the Long Island Expressway/Route 495 to Route 110 north, which looks faster on the map. It
isn’t- locals know Route 110 has many traffic lights, a long stretch just two
lanes wide and is a highly congested bottleneck choked with traffic, especially
on Saturdays. These directions make for a faster and more agreeable drive.
From Manhattan and points
west:
Our Preferred Route:
Take the Grand Central Parkway
East, which becomes the Northern State Parkway upon entering Nassau County.
Take exit 36B to merge onto NY-135 North toward Syosset for 1 mile

and Oakwood Road ends in a traffic light at High Street.
Turn right onto High Street and after one block go left at the traffic light onto New York
Ave/NY-110. The second right is Elm Street and we are the 4th store in on the
right.

work to your benefit during rush hours if you have more than one person in the
car.
