The Eastman 200 cello has an excellent, rich sound, is easy to play, and has very fine projection. Handcrafted of select, seasoned tonewoods with an ebony fingerboard and boxwood fittings, these instruments have remarkable tonal quality and matching workmanship. A great beginner instrument, your young student won't have to compensate with bad habits and technique. The finish is nicely flamed maple with a hand-applied satin varnish.
