CECILIA ‘Sanctus’ Rosin (Formerly, ANDREA ‘Sanctus’ Rosin) was initially introduced as CiA’s 10th Anniversary Special in 2018. CECiLIA ‘Sanctus’ is formulated to provide more possibilities in the sound of stringed instruments. This unique combination of two sophisticated rosin formulas provides the optimum balance for sound and bow control. These formulas have been put into two separate areas in one special rosin cake to show the clear definition of their roles. “Sanctus” formula is hydrogenated to have excellent oxidation resistance, which ensures the consistent quality performance experience throughout its long-lasting usage of the rosin. Available in viola, violin, and cello. Cremona in America renames ANDREA rosin CECILIA. All premium rosins from CiA will be made under the name CECILIA starting in 2020.
