D'Addario Helicore Violin Strings
D'Addario Helicore strings are crafted with a multi-stranded steel core, making for optimum playability and producing a clear, warm tone. The smaller string diameter provides quick bow response. Premium quality materials combine with skilled workmanship to craft strings with excellent pitch stability and longevity.
The Helicore line is available in 4/4, 3/4, 1/2, 1/4, 1/8 and 1/16 Sizes and Medium Gauge and features a Ball End. The 4/4 size is also available in Thick and Thin Gauges.

Choosing a size
- 4/4 Medium: for a full-size (4/4) violin. D'Addario scales this set for a 13 inch (328 mm) playing length.
- 3/4 Medium: for a 3/4 size violin.
- 1/2, 1/4, 1/8 and 1/16 sizes, and Thick or Thin gauge in 4/4, are made by D'Addario but not listed here. Contact us to ask about special order.
