Jozsef Simon Violin

This instrument is hand crafted by the multi-generational Simon family of violin makers of Transylvania. The top is made from Carpathian Spruce, a highly sought after tonewood of Europe.  The amber varnish is applied by hand and brings out the beauty of flamed maple back.  The fittings are ebony.  This attractive instrument has a broad, clear, tone and projects very well.  

Jozsef Simon instruments are imported directly to our shop where they are set up and tone adjusted by our expert luthiers.   

This violin is outfitted with all ebony fittings and Vision strings, gold label E.
