The Revelle Model 530 viola is a powerful competitor in its price range. The 530 is constructed with a Russian spruce top and flamed maple back that has been naturally air-dried for 5 to 10 years. Each 530 comes setup with a Despaiu bridge, Wittner-like tailpiece and Dominant strings.
